Become an official KP Music Mentors student with recurring lessons

If you enjoyed your trial or single lesson and would like to continue regular lessons with your teacher, you should consider weekly or bi-weekly lessons. 

Instead of buying packages, subscriptions - we will simply secure your requested lesson time on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

What are the perks of becoming an official KP Music Mentors student?

• A secured time slot - no need to schedule lessons one at a time and wait for confirmation.

• Simple and clear transactions mean you will be charged automatically only after the completed lessons. You can track all lessons and charges inside your Fons account  

• Ongoing teacher support - you can communicate with your teacher in case you need help explaining a topic or guidance with your lessons

• A dedicated learning folder in a filesharing program like google drive, dropbox, apple notes etc.

• The opportunity to reschedule - if something comes up and you need to cancel, official students can contact their teacher directly to reschedule instead of needing to set up a brand new lesson.

Requirements to be an official KP Music Mentors student:

1. Must maintain an attendance rate of at least 80%. This generally means for every ten lessons or so you will have no more than 2 cancellations. Please if possible contact your teacher to reschedule your lessons.   

2. Must dedicate at least 2 hours a week to practising your instrument.

Cancellation policy

A word on cancellations/rescheduling

At KP Music Mentors, we want to keep billing and cancellations as simple and transparent as possible so that teachers can be focused on teaching and students can be focused on learning.

Our instructors teach as part of making a living, so we need to work together to maintain consistency with lessons.

While it would be great to always attend each and every class, we know that sometimes things happen, and we as teachers need to be flexible.

Being that KP Music Mentors instructors are all working musicians in addition to teachers, occasionally, we may have to cancel and/or reschedule lessons ourselves.

If a last-minute illness or emergency pops up within the 24-hour cancellation window, please let your teacher know so that they can try to reschedule your lesson.

Similarly, if a teacher must call out within 24 hrs of a lesson, they will let you know and either cancel with no charge or work to find a rescheduled time.

When you become an official KP Music Mentors student, take consideration into selecting lesson length and frequency so as not to overextend yourself and to limit potential missed lessons.

For example, if you have a busy schedule with lots of travelling, pop-up meetings etc - consider shorter lessons or perhaps bi-weekly lessons.

If you have limited time to practice - consider shorter lessons so that you won’t be overburdened with practice material lesson to lesson.
